Matthew Lowery \ "Colorade"




Color is very closely associated with our emotions; so it is very closely tied to our appetites. Both of these associations make color extremely powerful in advertising. Why are we more compelled to crave drinks that have been brightly colored with chemical dyes? It is unnatural and redundant, yet these are what sell best worldwide. Some studies have shown that color can carry as much influence as taste when we perceive flavor. Delicious.
