Justin Stapp: Beauty

Beauty, what is it? I think it can always be argued because of personal opinions and biases. There are few things though that no matter who you are take your breath away and I think anyone will agree that are beautiful. Grandness is usually the key for me, whether it be a huge mountain landscape, vast clear a calm oceans, weather fronts with huge clouds, or a clear view of the stars in the night sky. All things in nature are inspiring and incredibly beautiful to me. I saw some imagery from Ben Canales on G+ a while back and was enthralled with it. Now that I have some equipment that will allow me to do so I am going to start playing with some star photography and this is my first exploration into that.

Mirrors Devin Swift

Mirrors are the coolest things to me. They are used in everyday life from grooming to admiring yourself, but mirrors also have a dark side. For centuries mirrors have been used in horror stores. From the old bloody marry to the bad luck for seven years if you break a mirror. There are also theories that you can see spirits in mirrors. There are many styles of mirrors, the new modern look, the old classic and many in between.  I love Pronto Home; it is a great site to look for mirrors. They show all the different styles and which stores have the best deals on the mirrors you like.

Urban: Jazzmin Windey

I feel that traffic, rules, lights, loud sounds all make up my definition of an urban area.  While I don't mind large cities I could never settle down in one.  I am a very rushed person as it is and don't think I could handle the fast pace of an urban area.  The crazy thing is that during my commute from work and school back home I go through so many different areas.  There are changes in altitude, scenery, even weather but through it all I know that as soon as I get past the lights pictured above I will be back in the quiet setting of my little slice of heaven.

Silhouette: Annie Bade

The sky was on fire with the evening's sunset. The rain was refreshing and cool as it sparkled on the kitchen window. What a beautiful combination of nature. I want to touch and be part of them both while they are here.

Color - Frank Gallagher

"Color in Action" I believe that color doesn't have to be standing still to still be beautiful.
