Vintage - Sean Alexander

Vintage to me is something timeless, something classic that regardless of it's era can represent an entire generation and remind you of what something used to be. Luke Miller was born and raised in Colorado and it's his memories of the tall grass, lakeside parties as the summer gets closer, and the time spent just enjoying nature when he was younger that really remind him of those nostalgic memories. We spent the afternoon until sunset at a fishing lake in Lory State Park, just enjoying the weather, hiking, and talking about those more classic memories and also all the inappropriate and wild things we did when we were younger. Our conversation might have been filled with casually used curse words and offensive to the beer drinking college kids fishing (definitely offended them), but it was easily the most nostalgic and possibly stress relieving thing I've done in awhile.

Katelyn Lumpkins- Green!

"April showers brings May flowers." Lately everything has been gray and gloomy, but once the spring rain storms pass our gardens are lush and flowers are flourishing. These grape hyacinth flowers are especially thriving on this spring morning after the nightly rain shower.

The leaves return to the tree’s vibrantly, something I have sorely missed as the depressingly barren branches incite only melancholy and dull thoughts.

Green-Caitlin McBride

When given the word "green" to portray in a photograph I immediately thought of greenery. I love spring, and seeing flowers bloom and the green grass emerge over the brown fields of winter. It makes me feel new and fresh. I went to my friends house on a beautiful Friday and went out to her backyard. Her yard is full of dead grass, but on the side yard there was cluster of flowers that had sprung up. I immediately grabbed my camera and photographed this beautiful beginning of spring.

Spring- Hunter Baar

Spring in the Rockies brings excitement to people in Colorado, because its concert season in at Red Rocks. People that come to Red Rocks hate the hike up the hundreds of stairs but enjoy the walk down as this slinky also does.

When I think of Spring I mostly see the warming of the Winter and the melting of the snow. I picture beautiful botanicals defying the cold to capture any light they can simply to bloom. It is from all the harsh cold that this water comes to be and give life to the warmer of things.

Spring - Casey Bieker

Spring in Colorado always seems like a tease in that you get a taste of it then it's gone again. The "newness" of spring with all the greenery and flowers is caged up and held back repeatedly in the last battle with Winter before we get to see it full force.
