Change; CJ Evans

As the season change, so does our mean of recreation. We go from tanning, playing volleyball, running, long boarding, and just being outside to running in gyms, tanning salons and just sitting inside during the winter. To me though there is so much more to do in the winter. During the winter season snowboarding is my recreation. I may long board during the summer months but when winter come around I have no problem changing my recreational activities.

Spicy - Justin Wilhelm

In anticipation of all the spicy foods and peppers I imagined we would see today I thought that I would bring the beverages.  Beer is quite possibly my most favorite beverage to calm the heat from spicy foods (not just because I love beer), but because the carbonation really does help to 'scrub' your palette. It also does not leave the tannins that wine does which allows you to fully taste both the beverage and the food.  So the next time you sit down to that spicy red curry at your favorite thai restaurant remember to order a beer.  Better yet, skip the Heineken and order a Hitachino Nest White Ale!

Motion

This shot ended up quite opposite from my original idea. I wanted to show a snow boarder sliding down a rail with a blur, and then stopping him at the end with a strobe. Due to equipment failures I ended up taking a different route and panning my subjects. In the end I was happy with the change and must say these guys are fast!!
