Time goes on. Life always grabs ahold of you. Whether it’s work or your personal life. Events come around and make you see what you are doing with your life. As this fellow reflects on his endeavors, he believes in living in the moment. He doesn’t let anything get in the way of what he wants out of life. Every minute counts, just like the cigarette, it’s going to end eventually so you might as well enjoy it while you can. Who knew smoke breaks could be so intuitive.
Very solid post and photo! Well put, and well done! I like the comparison b/w life and a cig. I don't think I've ever heard that one before, but it's so true. I tend to over think all the things in a single day that could potentially get in the way of happiness. And yet, even with all the fucked up shit going on around me, and in my own life, school and work always tend to find their way to the top of my list. But then I have to find a way to remind myself that's bullshit! If that's the case, then I'm in the wrong business. We're photographers for cryin out loud. We have the best job, and we're lucky to be where we are at this particular time in our lives. We're young, and life is beautiful, so pick up a camera and shoot that shit!
