Death: Anthony S. Archuleta
Ana Escalante sits in her kitchen reflecting the memories of her father. Being of Mexican descent, "Dia de los Muertos" is a significant holiday that is traditionally celebrated in her culture. Rest in Peace.
I like how you have split your image with 2 different things that represent death. The lady looking back on her father and the room on the other side of the wall with the shrine. Good work!
Really love the lighting in this photo. I think you did a nice job capturing the essence of what death signifies to this individual. This picture truly tells a story.
