Funky: Rebekah McDaniel

Every family should have a pet and one of the most common family pets today are dogs. When it comes to choosing the perfect breed, you can find yourself overwhelmed with hundreds of different choices to choose from. Ranging from small to large, skinny to husky, short hair or long hair, the options are endless. So when it comes to choosing a breed not only do you need to consider your family’s lifestyle, but consider the breeds IQ as well.
Even though looking at your family’s lifestyle is a good start. Checking the history and behavioral charts for a breeds is also recommended. You want to know if they are easy to train, how much they shed, are they good with kids, and how much energy and attention they need....these are all excellent questions to ask when asking yourself what type of dog is right for you.

Pet Peeves - Matt Speck

What's more annoying then a dog on the couch, nothing!? Because of this I have to consistently clean all the hair off of my clothes.

Amanda Jade Corrales- Green

EarthDog Daycare is one of the friendliest and "GREEN"-est dog Day cares in town! My little ones love to spend their free time at EarthDog Daycare tugging ropes, swimming in the outdoor swimming pool, or even having an organic dog treat! This facility holds summer swim sessions and doggie dates for all the owners and pups alike.

One of my favorite things to do is play Frisbee with my "Aussie" Shepard, and sometimes I even out play her!

These pups have the look I want to see when I bring my furry little friends home from daycare!

CLASSIC: Raydene Salinas

Family photos in the park. This is a pretty classic scene to see in the parks during the fall. Just this weekend, my friend Shawn called me to ask if I would take family pictures of her, her boyfriend and their two dogs. I jumped at the chance, because it's been a long time since I've taken family portraits and I liked the addition of the dogs in the shot.

Their dogs added a fun element that is often lacking in family pictures. Shawn enabled me to take something classic, like family portraits, and do a modern twist. We had a blast running all over the park with the dogs, tossing leaves, and creating beautiful photographs.
